Before...
After!
Hydrangeas, Hostas, Gardenias, and Azaleas
Gardenia
We planted three of these. This one is covered in buds, while the other two have none. Go fig.
Hosta Elegans
These guys seem very happy in the terrible, clay-filled soil in this bed.
First bloom
Jury is still out on whether or not these guys will live, but this is promising.
Tiny beds on the north side of the house
Asiatic Lillies-to-be. Hopefully they will bloom in June.
Thai and Cinnamon Basil
These are looking happier in their new, shadier home. I haven't had a chance to cook with them yet, but the bugs seem to enjoy them... Also clinging to life: Oregano and Lavendar.
Bed by the back gate
Pampas Grass and Globe Arbovitae. Two sun plants that I hope will not die in partial shade.
Hosta
I was very excited that these came back. And some of them look like they will bloom! They didn't last year.
